This Week on Nothing Left

Michael Lumish

Nothing Left

This week Michael Burd and Alan Freedman start with an interview with former Obama US ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro who is visiting Australia as one of the keynote speakers at the JNF gala dinners in Melbourne and Sydney, and then speak live with Daniel Mandel from the Zionist Organisation of America on General McMaster (albeit truncated because the line dropped out unexpectedly).

The fellahs are also joined in the studio by Yosef Drever from Achdut HaLev, an organisation he started to promote aliya to Israel, and then they hear from Dr Martin Sherman on his "humanitarian"option for resolving the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs.

  1. I don't know what to tell you guys.

They wanted weak Nazis to fight against and now they have them.

It all started in the months leading up to the last election when suddenly the Left dragged Milo and the "alt-right" into the spotlight.

    Oh, joy.

  3. I think that what saddens me the most is the fact that the contemporary Left is undoing the gains of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States.

    1. Not only are they undoing the gains of the Civil Rights movement, they are pushing a lot of people away, and some of those into the arms of the hard right.
Violent antifascist groups helped pave the way for Hitler's rise to power.
And the thing of it is, many of these people no almost nothing about history. They are rather ignorant. And, in my view, much of that ignorance is by design. There is certainly something to the adage that those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
There are now people around the country demanding the removal of statues of George Washington and the like because they were slave holders. The woman charged with pulling down the statue in Durham (?) is named Fatima. The founder of Islam was a slave holder and unlike the founding fathers who are acknowledged to be flawed human beings by their own philosophical outlook, the founder of Islam is held up as the perfect man.

  4. The sanctimony reeks these days, but particularly from the people that pretend not to know that hate exists from more than one direction. They should all look at their own roles, but won’t. They are too busy sewing seeds of disunity and engaging in inauthentic virtue signalling, while others are afraid to exercise expression in fear of being judged or ostracized.

The news media, now an arm of the entertainment industry seeking only to make a buck, is a prime contributor to the nasty environment.

The sooner we lose Facebook, Twitter, and the Google mentality, the better off we'd all be. Why people must publicize opinions no matter the topic is beyond comprehension, especially when one considers the corrosive effects.

Trump NEVER had a chance and would be blamed no matter what. Guess it's better to be liked than anything these days. The Cultural Revolution has begun.
