When Will Progressives Acknowledge the Jihad?

Mike L.

What is it going to take for progressive-Zionists, in particular, to acknowledge the rise of radical Islam and to speak out against it? There are millions of children throughout the Middle East who are taught to despise Jews and the Jewish state of Israel in what is the most vociferous genocidal Jew-Hatred that we have seen since the rise of Nazi Germany.

Gaza kindergartners want to 'blow up Zionists'

Kids at Islamic Jihad kindergarten celebrate end of year by demonstrating how Palestinian prisoners are 'tortured' in Israel. Teacher: We educate them to love resistance, Palestine

This is not about Israeli policy or the so-called "occupation."  No.  It is about the unacceptability of Jewish sovereignty on any land that was at any time part of the Umma.

"It is our obligation to educate the children to love the resistance, Palestine and Jerusalem, so they will recognize the importance of Palestine and who its enemy is," the kindergarten's director said.

They train their children toward genocidal Jew Hatred and western progressives blame Jewish Israelis for Muslim hatred toward them. As Jews we're supposed to support the progressive movement, because we traditionally have and because we were an essential part of its creation to begin with, despite the fact that this political movement, my old political home, has sold us down the river entirely.

The children were dressed up in uniforms of Jihad's armed-wing, the al-Quds Brigades, and each of them received a toy rifle. Some of them held up photos of Islamic Jihad founder Fathi Shaqaqi.

During the ceremony the children were asked to stand next to mock coffins draped with flags of the various armed factions. The flags bore the images of "shahids (martyrs)."

One child, Hamza, said "When I grow up I'll join Islamic Jihad and the al-Quds Brigades. I'll fight the Zionist enemy and fire missiles at it until I die as a shahid and join my father in heaven.

"I love the resistance and the martyrs and Palestine, and I want to blow myself up on Zionists and kill them on a bus in a suicide bombing," he said.

They are trained to hate us, and to kill us, yet progressives, as a group, blame us for their hatred. To the extent that progressives are even willing to acknowledge the Jihad, which generally they will not because they honestly believe that noticing the genocidal Jew Hatred emanating from the Arab-Muslim worlds represents "Islamophobia."

The stupidity, frankly, and the injustice, is just incomprehensible. What we are seeing in the Middle East under the misnomer "Arab Spring" is the rise of fascism and Barack Obama encouraged us to think about the rise of Muslim fascism as one might think about "the dignity of Rosa Parks as she sat courageously in her seat."

This, by the way, is also the kind of thing that Sandra Tamari... well, now we know why should called herself "Soysauce"... encourages when she spreads hatred toward the Jews of the Middle East under the banner of "human rights." She is one of those who seeks to put an acceptable face on genocidal fascism among well-meaning, but ideologically blinkered, western progressives.

We have got to stand up and say, "NO."

The US government is, essentially, funding what we see above and it has to stop. Hamas must be eliminated because their movement is one of Islamic Nazism and they believe that they have a religious mandate to kill Jewish children in their beds.

  1. Mass-Murderous Racist Anti-Jewish Terrorism by Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority and Hamas

In 2000, at the Middle East Peace Summit at Camp David, then-President of Israel, Ehud Barak, agreed to the creation of a 'Palestinian' Arab state (which, in fact, would be the creation of a second 'Palestinian' Arab state in addition to the 'Palestinian' Arab state Jordan), and offered to give over 90 percent of what is now called "The West Bank" (Judea (Yehouda) and Sameria (Shomron) (named "The West Bank" by Jordan between 1949 and 1967 -- in which Jordan referred to Jordan-occupied Judea (Yehouda) and Sameria (Shomron) as "the west bank" of the Jordan river)) and half of Jerusalem (Yerushalayim), the capital of the nation of the Jewish people, Israel, to Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority to constitute that would-be second 'Palestinian' Arab state. In response to that offer, Yasser Arafat, the then-head of Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority, refused that offer and demanded that all of Jerusalem be given to Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority to constitute the capital city of that would-be second 'Palestinian' Arab state.

Between the years 2000 to 2006, after Yasser Arafat, in 2000, rejected that offer of a 'Palestinian' Arab state (which, in fact, would be a second 'Palestinian' Arab state in addition to the 'Palestinian' Arab state Jordan), Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas and their Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority with their al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade terrorist militia, and with their then-allies and then-collaborators Hamas, launched a campaign of racist anti-Jewish mass-murder in which they, with over one hundred bomb attacks in buses, restaurants, and other places of social congregation, in Israel, murdered over one thousand Jewish people in Israel (a very small country whose population is 7.5 million people (Jewish (Ashkenazi Jewish, Mizrahi Jewish, Sephardi Jewish, Ethiopian Jewish, etc.) citizens of Israel (6 million people), and non-Jewish (Muslim Arab, Druze Arab, Christian Arab, etc.) citizens of Israel (1.5 million people (who are not the Arab people who are now called the 'Palestinians')))). In response to those murderous attacks in Israel against Jewish civilians in Israel by Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority and Hamas, the government of Israel built a security barrier, of which 95 percent is fence, and of which 5 percent is wall, along the border of Israel, and established checkpoints to enter into Israel along the border of Israel adjacent to what is now called "The West Bank" and along the border of Israel adjacent to what is now called "The Gaza Strip".

  2. This has been going on for years. I've been a subscriber to Palestinian Media Watch and Middle East Media Research Institute for a very long time.

    1. Yup.

I'm with ya, Shirl. In fact, as you know, this kind of thing has been going on for centuries.

What I find amazing is that the history of 13 centuries of Jewish dhimmitude has been almost entirely repressed by the academe.

      It's very odd.

There is some work out there... Martin Gilbert leaps to mind... but for the most part the regular population is unaware of that history.

It would be as if people looking at Black history in the US were entirely unaware of the history of African-American slavery.

That is the current state of affairs viz-a-viz people's understanding of Jewish history.

We need to argue that the history of Israel is incomprehensible without some understanding of the history of Jewish dhimmitude, because that happens to be a fact.

I do not see how it can possibly be otherwise.

And you are absolutely my new fave.
