Couldn't Happen To A Nastier Terrorist Loving Israel Hater (Updated!)

Doodad

This diary by soysauce made me smile. She finally got what was coming to her for her hatred.

My participation in an interfaith delegation trip to Palestine and Israel was blocked by Israeli officials who detained, interrogated and then expelled me because they deemed me to be "a security risk.".....

The Israelis demanded access to my gmail account. When I refused to provide my password, they said that I must be hiding something sinister. That's when they said I was a terrorist.

I was taken to security to claim my suitcase. They went through my belongings thoroughly and searched every inch of my body. ....I was taken to a prison cell where I was detained overnight and then was driven onto a runway to board a commercial flight to Europe and then onto the States.

Karma, soysauce....pure Karma. Keep it up Israel!

Read  MBNYC's comments for the best take on this.

Man, I wish I had been there to see her get what she had coming.

Update by Mike:

Yes, the entire Peanuts gang could hardly be more pleased.

  2. On a more sombre note, this kind of thing doesn't happen that often. Security risk? Sounds like they had advance info on her. Saw her coming and had info linking her to bad guys.

If you google her real name, Sandra Tamari, the story is all over the blogosphere and she is promising to make a federal case out of it. I sure would like to know the whole story. Maybe she will end up on the no fly list. All security risks should.

I hope you don't mind my wee-bit of editing, Doodad.

And, I have to tell ya, I'm also cracking up a little bit, myself.

  5. She's a QUAKER?

"When the former officers of the Holy Land Foundation who had served as Hamas’ fundraising arm went before the US Court of Appeals– there weren’t many organizations willing to file an Amicus brief. But the American Friends Service Committee was first among them.

The American Friends Service Committee had good reason to be worried. It had worked with Life for Relief and Development, an Islamic charity also accused of being a Hamas front. Its concern over the criminal prosecution of charities that passed money along to terrorists was even more pressing because it has a substantial presence in Hamas-run Gaza. When Israel stopped the blockade running Gaza flotilla, the AFSC statement in response said that the “continuing refusal by the U.S. to deal with the winners of this election [Hamas] has led to a tightening of the blockade” and urged, “the U.S. government to reverse its support for this flawed, failed policy approach and take all effective steps to end Gaza’s isolation.”

Dealing with the winners of the election would mean dealing with Hamas, but that was no obstacle for the AFSC, whose General Secretary, Mary Ellen McNish, had no doubt discussed this policy when she visited Hamas’ backer in Tehran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

In the United States, the AFSC is a familiar presence alongside the usual Marxist and Islamist groups on posters advertising anti-American and anti-Israel rallies. While its bulletins still make some effort to mention “non-violence” in all the right places as a tribute to the group’s pacifist roots, it is enmeshed with violent and totalitarian groups.

The AFSC’s unnatural interest in Israel goes back to the devil’s bargain that Quakers made to keep their institutions operating in the face of Islamic pressure, replacing their American and European officials with locals at the time of Israeli statehood and the war that followed. This takeover of Quaker institutions tipped them into the terrorist camp. The bigoted revolutionaries who now headed them up were Quakers in name only. Their inner identity was allied with the terrorist campaign against Israel.

Khalil Totah, the head of the local Friends school in Ramallah, toured America and the UK at that time calling for an end to Jewish immigration and the destruction of the embryonic Jewish state. Totah had been described as the most active member of the Washington Arab Office, an organization that the Anti-Nazi League claimed was under the control of the Mufti of Jerusalem– an ally of Hitler....."

    1. This is news to me, Doodad.

So, I am to understand that there is a wing of the Quakers in the Middle East that is pro-terrorist and pro-Hamas? Or, at least, anti-Israel?

Well, that certainly explains things, doesn't it?

    2. Evidently, man. BTW, if you follow Harry's Place at all like I do, they often expose the terrorist loving British Quakers who are so into Palestine activism. Dershowitz has also exposed these hypocrites a few times.

Today's Quakers, not your father's Quakers.

    3. CIF has an article about the Quakers:

"Pacifist Aggressive: the Quaker echo chamber which empowers terrorism.

The decision taken in April 2011 by British members of the Religious Society of Friends – or Quakers, as they are perhaps better known – to officially join the BDS movement and engage in the boycotting of goods originating in certain parts of Israel brought the need for examination of this group’s activities into clearer focus. For several years, some British bloggers have been publicly asking for explanations regarding repeated incidents of the hiring out of Quaker-owned facilities in London and elsewhere in the UK to extremist groups with a less than pacifist ethos. Others have wondered at some of the funding decisions made by Quaker charities such as the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust. A look inside the world of the Friends is, therefore, perhaps long overdue....."

  6. I would like to also point out that this diary received a whopping 246 rec's. IMO this shows the true heart of the swamp with its heavy support for a terrorist loving, Israel hating BDSer who advocates the destruction of Israel. Way to go dKos; your slime never fails to shine through. Scumbags!

Also, I demand Ms. Tamari hand her property over to the Mississippian tribes. St. Louis is colonialism. ;-P

The Israelis threatened me by saying that a denial into Israel would "haunt me" in the U.S. That they had close relations with American security and this would cause problems for me at immigration and with my employers.

  8. I found this pretty hilarious. I haven't actually read all the comments, but I've yet to see anyone explain why Israel should have let her in. If she was a resident of say Iran, and had said things about the US that she's said about Israel, is there any chance that the US would let her in? Or substitute any country in the world. I'm mildly surprised they even questioned her, and didn't just turn her around and send her home.

She's one of the best promoters of anti-Jewish hatred that I have seen because she is very adept at spreading anti-Semitic anti-Zionism under the banner of "human rights."

The fact that she promotes herself as a Quaker is gold.

  9. Here is one comment in the "diary":

My blood boils at the injustice meted against the (1+ / 0-)

Palestinian people. It drives me insane that the world stands by as Israeli apartheid and concentration camps continue in Palestine. I am so sorry for your ordeal, for your family both here and in Palestine, but of course you're right, for the millions of Palestinians who can neither leave nor return to their homes, it's unimaginable. Thanks for writing this!

"Jews are evil persecutors.", "Jews are Nazis.": Who could believe this? Who could believe this, even only seventy years after the Holocaust? Ideologically genocidal anti-Jewish racists (ignorant ego-worshipping ego-protecting dishonest people who believe a constant stream of huge lies that vilify a group of Jewish people). This has always been the case, for over two thousand years. This was the case eight hundred years ago in Europe. This was the case eighty years ago in Germany and in other Western countries. This is the case now -- globally.

    1. Dan,

      you are quite correct.

Every generation they tell us why we deserve a good beating and this generation is no different.

There was a brief moment after the Shoah, in the west but not in the Middle East, in which the prevailing thought was that picking on the Jews was not just.

This moment lasted between about 1945 and 1967.

Now, however, much of the world, including much of the western-left, is absolutely convinced that we, yet again, deserve whatever we get.

Nothing has changed... other than our ability to fight the fuck back.

      Delete
    2. Well, the reason that nothing has changed -- the reason that Western anti-Jewish racism has commenced again, after a few decades after the Holocaust -- is because the physically violent intendedly genocidal war against the Jewish people that began, in the Middle East and in Europe, in the beginning part of the 20th century and that culminated with the Holocaust, didn't end, in the Middle East, after the Holocaust, and because the lies that anti-Jewish racists have always told about the Jewish people have been continued to be told, and because, most crucially, Jewish people have not effectively told the facts about the situation that they are in, and have therefore not dispelled the lies that are vilifying the nation of the Jewish people and that are causing and perpetuating the racist intendedly genocidal multifaceted war against Israel and the Jewish people.

In order to stop the the racist intendedly genocidal multifaceted war against Israel and the Jewish people, the lies that are vilifying Israel and the Jewish people need to be dispelled. In order to dispel those lies, the factual history and current reality of the situation that Israel is in, and the reality of the nature of Israeli society, needs to be effectively communicated to the world.

Jewish people have never, before, effectively communicated the reality of the situation(s) that they have been in, and they have, therefore, never dispelled the lies that have vilified them and that have caused racist anti-Jewish movements to arise. That is why Jewish people have always been in the situation(s) that they have always been in.

That is why it is so difficult for Jewish people to understand that they need to effectively communicate the reality of the situation that Israel is in, and that they are not effectively communicating the reality of the situation that Israel is in. But Jewish people need to start to effectively communicate the reality of the situation that Israel is in.

  11. I read the blog and I must say it's the best laugh I've had in a long while.

If her story is true, they must have had good evidence to search and interrogate her.

I think it may just be wishful thinking on her part when she said “they searched every inch of my body”

    1. This bit of absurd hyperbole is priceless, too -

"As I was sitting in prison"

A few hours in a holding cell at the airport is apparently now "sitting in prison." What a martyr, she is, this 'peaceful' Quaker woman who nonetheless advocates for the violent destruction of the world's sole Jewish state...

      Delete
    2. That's it, exactly, Jay, and that's precisely why this woman is so despicable.

She promotes hatred toward Jews under the banner of "social justice." But, then, I have to always remind myself that even the Nazis thought of themselves as idealists.
