Canada: Iranian Textbook Depicts Jews as Apes

Mike L.

While Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper believes Iran is the biggest threat to world peace and security, some Canadian school kids taking Persian weekend classes, study from Iranian text books depicting Jews as "sons of apes", Canadian network Sun News reported.

In an interview with The Source, Director of the International and Terrorist Intelligence Program at INSIGNIS Strategic Research Inc. David Harris noted that textbooks issued by the Iranian Education Ministry have made their way into public Canadian schools.

"These textbooks included hate literature that included the glorifying of a 13-year old child soldier who had strapped a grenade to himself and blown himself up under an Iraqi tank during the Iran-Iraq war. We've also seen multiple pictures of Ayatollah Khamenei."

'Sons of apes'

Harris noted that "these books were given to elementary school students, and even third graders," adding that "Israel of course was vilified.

"The Israeli soldiers (in the book) looked ape-like and very much reminiscent of the popular Jihadist portrayal of Jews as the 'sons of apes,'" he said.

"There was a grade three text that portrayed a situation in which a six-year-old Palestinian was instructing his three-year-old brother how to stone Israeli soldiers, and then the passage ends with one of the soldiers beating the young child over the head with blood flowing everywhere."

When is the western left going to acknowledge that there is a trend within Islamic cultures that vilifies Jews? When? What is it going to take for our friends on the left to finally acknowledge the obvious and come to understand that these problems in the Islamic world are not some figment of George Bush's fevered imagination?

How many little Jewish girls with their heads chopped off must there be before western left Jews awaken from their vegetable torpor and acknowledge that we have a problem here and that problem is not the friggin' Klan.

By the way, this is the first comment under the Y-Net article:

1. Sadly, the concepts expressed in Iranian textbooks are part and parcel of the predominant thinking throughout the Muslim world, Arab and non-Arab alike. We, in Israel, face it regularly with the expressions, and deeds, of the Arabs with whom we share our homeland of Eretz Israel (Land of Israel). Sadly, some at the highest level of the American administration, naively, assume otherwise....

I'm sure that your average western leftist would consider Mr. Ben-Israel to be a stone cold racist for daring to object to his own dehumanization.

Not surprisingly, we also have this as a comment:

5. hate?

"These textbooks included hate literature that included the glorifying of a 13-year old child soldier who had strapped a grenade to himself and blown himself up under an Iraqi tank during the Iran-Iraq war."

Although 'hate' and 'hatred' seem favorite words among Jews, people do not understand what they actually mean. The act of the child soldier destroying an enemy tank is heroism. 'Hate' and 'heroism' are not synonymous. Any normal person uses the word 'hate' twice a year, at most.
